Carriage rides across the Seiser Alm

Pure romance

Carriage rides across the Seiser Alm

Experience the vastness of Europe’s largest high Alpine pasture during a sleigh or carriage ride across the Seiser Alm. Whether snuggled up in cap and blanket in winter or in the sunshine during summer: to the rhythm of the horses’ hooves and to the sound of the bells on the bridle of the Haflinger horses, you can enjoy the unique mountain scenery of the Dolomites with Langkofel, Plattkofel and Schlern massif.

Information about the carriage and sleigh rides across the Seiser Alm.

The starting point of the winter sleigh rides and summer carriage rides across the Seiser Alm is at the Seiser Alm Information Office in Compatsch (just a few metres away from the Seiser Alm cable car). The horse-drawn carriage ride takes you across widespread Alpine meadows, past pastures and flowering meadows – snow-covered winter dreamy landscapes make a winter sleigh ride so special. Mountain huts along the way invite you to stop for a break at any time of the year.
