Day visitors to the Seiser Alm can park their
car free of charge in the large open car park at the vally station of the Seiser Alm cable car in Seis am Schlern.

E-car charging station for guests of the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway
At the valley station of the Seiser Alm cable car there were installed three E-car charing stations. One of them is located outside, the other two are inside the park house (P1 and P2). These are hyperchargers where an E-car can be charged with a power from 100 kW to 150 kW, that means that currently popular E-cars can be chared in about half an hour. With the
"Neogy eMobility" app, you can see all the public e-charging stations in your area, reserve them, start the charging process and pay.
Those who prefer to
drive up to the Seiser Alm by car themselves instead of taking the Seiser Alm cable car must pass the S. Valentino forest station before 9:00 a.m. The road leading to the Seiser Alm Nature Protection Reserve is closed from 9am to 5pm (exception for guests of facilities located in the Seiser Alm). The
P1 car park Spitzbühl is free, the daily fee for the
P2 car park Compatsch is 28.50€ for cars and 160.00 € for buses.
In the Seiser Alm Nature Protection Reserve parking is prohibited from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am.
P2 car park in Compatsch - NEW
With the redesign of the P2 car park in Compatsch, 2 entrance barriers to the car park
(above the Hotel Zorzi) and 2 exit barriers (one at the bidirectional
entrance and one in the upper half of the car park at the bus turning
area) have now been installed. The entrance barriers are blocked for the duration of the parking ban from 11:00pm to 06:00am. A ticket must be taken when entering the car park.
Exit is possible at any time.
Payment must be made
before leaving, there are 2
automatic pay machines inside the new car park attendant's hut. Payment can be made by credit card or in cash.
Access to the pay machines through a sliding door, currently
from 07:30am – 07:00pm in automatic mode, access at night only with a
parking ticket.
The current car park fee is
€28.50/day; (daily rate only, free parking for 10 minutes), If the ticket is lost, twice the amount of the current car park fee, of

Guests who have booked in an accommodation on the Seiser Alm can park directly at the accommodation.
In the off-season (middle of April-middle of May and beginning of November-beginning of Dicember), the Seiser Alm cable car is closed, and the road to Compatsch is open all day for private transport. At the Seiser Alm, you can park your car at the free car park Spitzbühel or on the paid car park P2 in Compatsch. The daily fee for the P2 car park Compatsch is 13.00€ for cars and 80.00 € for buses. The parking fee is only payable from mid-April to mid-May.
Wild camping is strictly prohibited in the Seiser Alm nature reserve and in the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park and is not allowed in the entire Dolomites region Seiser Alm.
If you are travelling in a motorhome or van trough South Tyrol and you would like to spend the night outdoor, please inform yourself well in advance about the possibilities.
In the Dolomites region Seiser Alm there is the
first-class camping site Seiser Alm, set in a picturesque natural landscape, offering you a safe and pleasant place to spend the night. Especially during holiday periods and weekends, availability can run out quickly and shortages can occur. Please enquire before your arrival about available pitches.
Please note that every kind of camping and tenting as well as vehicle parking, including camper vans, vans, minivans and/or cars in the Dolomites region Seiser Alm are only permitted on designated and equipped camping campsites.
It is strictly forbidden to camp, stopover or overnight stays in the own vehicles outside the designated and equipped campsites; this also applies to stopping, camping and/or camping in protected natural sides and on private properties.
We kindly ask all visitors to respect the local regulations in force and to cooperate as much as possible, thus helping to preserve the natural heritage, beauty and uniqueness of the Dolomites region Seiser Alm.
Compliance with the regulations not only helps to
avoid unpleasant sanctions and legal disputes, but also promotes a positive attitude towards tourism among the development of tourism.
People with an official European Disability Card can drive to the Seiser Alm up to Compatsch by car at any time, where you will find
specially reserved and free parking spaces. The
European Parking Card for persons with disabilities (European Parking Card) should be
clearly visible behind the windshield in the car.
Handicapped people with a valid ID are also allowed to drive to the Seiser Alm up to Compatsch at any time by car, where you can park
in the large P2 car park in Compatsch. The parking area P2 in Compatsch
costs €28.50 per day for cars (equivalent to the tariff for a roundtrip ticket with the Seiser Alm cable car) .
Special arrangements in the off-season (CLOSED AERIAL CABLEWAY):
During the off-season
