The Guest Pass facilitates holidaymakers’ the exploration of the Dolomites region Seiser Alm as well as the wider region of South Tyrol, providing a single-ticket access to all types of public transport, such as train and bus. Guests of accommodation in the villages of Kastelruth/Castelrotto, Seis am Schlern/Siusi allo Sciliar, Völs am Schlern/Fiè allo Sciliar and Tiers am Rosengarten/Tires al Catinaccio which appear with a photo in this website get the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass, free of charge. The Card facilitates holidaymakers’ exploration of the Dolomites region Seiser Alm as well as the wider region of South Tyrol, providing a single-ticket access to all types of public transport, such as train and bus. Adults and kids aged above 6 years recive the Guest Pass.

- regional and regional express trains (R, RV & RE): Brennero-Trento, Mals-Meran-Bozen and Fransensfeste-Innichen*
- PostAuto Switzerland (Line 811 on the Mals/Malles – Müstair/Grenze section)
- VVT (line 273: section Mals – Pfunds/Kajetansbrücke & line 335: Moos im Passeier - Obergurgl)
- the cable cars Ritten-Bozen, Kohlern-Bozen, Meransen-Mühlbach, Mölten-Vilpian/Terlan and Vöran-Burgstall
- the Ritten/Renon light railway and the Mendel/Mendola funicular
- discount on the tickets: Combi Card, Nordic Pass and Seiser Alm Card Gold
*Attention: The Guest Pass is NOT VALID for: Seiser Alm Express (no.10), Almbus (no. 11), Saltria−Monte Pana (no. 12), Nightliner (N170) and Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway and cable car Tiers.
The Guest Pass is not valid for journeys on long-distance trains (e.g. EC trains, Railjet, Frecciargento, Italo).
Once you have activated your Guest Pass, it remains valid for the durations of your stay. The Guest Pass is personal and non-transferable and needs to be voided each time you travel.
Starting from October 1, 2024, the Guest Pass will only be available in digital form. You will receive it via email directly to your smartphone when checking in at your accommodation. Upon request, the digital Guest Pass can also be printed. With Smart Check-In, you have the option to receive the Guest Pass before your arrival. Guests arriving before October 1, 2024, will still receive the paper Guest Pass for the entire duration of their stay from their accommodation.
Dogs don’t have the right to get the Guest Pass and have to pay the regular fare in the busses of the Public Transport Services. The transfer of dogs in the shuttle busses is free of charge.
Validation:
The Südtirol Guest Pass must be validated at the start of each journey by scanning the QR code. When travelling by train, the Guest Pass must be validated before boarding.
Important information:
- The guest pass will be automatically sent to you via email in digital form at check-in and can be used on the day of your arrival.
- Your Guest Pass is valid for the entire duration of your stay, starting from 00:00 AM on your arrival day until 11:59 PM on your departure day.
- The Guest Pass will be sent to your email by the accommodation, including an electronic version and a PDF.
- If you prefer a printed copy or do not have access to your email, the accommodation can print the PDF for you upon arrival.
- With Smart Check-In, you have the option to receive the Guest Pass before your arrival.
- Ensure that your hotel or vacation rental is a participant in this program to receive your pass.
- Children under 6 do not need the Guest Pass.
- In case of non compliance a penalty will be issued.
- Dogs have to pay the regular fare in the public bus services. The transfer of dogs in the shuttle busses of the Dolomites region Seiser Alm is free of charge. Muzzles are compulsory!
