Snowshoeing and winter hiking on the Seiser Alm

Undisturbed nature, incredible views over the Dolomites and the peaks of the mountains Langkofel, the Plattkofel, the Schlern and the Rosengarten, so many sunny winter days… Snow lovers will find everything they could wish for on a snowshoe walk or winter hike through the Dolomites region Seiser Alm. The tour network covers 60 kilometres of perfectly groomed winter hiking trails and 50 kilometres of marked snowshoe trails and is in the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Reserve. All winter hiking trails on the Seiser Alm can also be used as snowshoe hiking trails.

One particularly popular destination for snowshoe walks in the Dolomites is the Tiers am Rosengarten area: Whether you opt for a tour in the rustic Tschamin Valley, a leisurely tour, or a demanding Alpine excursion, the area provides something to suit every taste.

Fabulous hiking – fabulous food!

Alongside the beauty of the countryside, those who head out on winter hikes and snowshoe expeditions are equally well catered-for in terms of cuisine: Numerous mountain cabins alongside the trails offer excellent refreshments, and some are also open on moonlight expeditions. The avalanche-safe trails ensure safe winter fun and, if you would like to embark on a snowshoe expedition but lack experience, you can place your trust in an expert walking or mountain guide. Snowshoes can be rented directly on site.
